1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
English & Western Riding, Barn Animal Care & Organic Gardening in Greenwich Backcountry. Designed for Ages 5 to 15. Daily activities are well-organized and age-appropriate for Ages 5 to 15, if not especially inventive. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Swim instruction happens on a consistent schedule, with lifeguards visibly attentive during our visit. (per our Greenwich Backcountry visit, est. 1960)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Riding Ring), 1:6 (Farm Pods). Counselor training covers the essentials; nothing exceptional, but nothing that raised concerns either. (per our Greenwich Backcountry visit, est. 1960)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Whispering Oaks Equestrian & Farm Camp are functional and mostly on time; catering covers the basics — hot lunch, nut-free policy, afternoon snacks.
Tuition Range: $1550 – $1800 / week
