1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
Every Single Bunk Led by a Certified Professional School Teacher in Greenwich Backcountry. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. Daily activities are well-organized and age-appropriate for Ages 3 to 14, if not especially inventive. (per our Greenwich Backcountry visit, est. 1963) Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
The pool program at Wellington Tradition Day Camp covers the basics competently — heated water, certified staff, a reasonable ratio in the water.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Early Childhood), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:7 (Tweens). Counselors are a mix of mature high schoolers and college-age staff, generally competent and attentive. (per our Greenwich Backcountry visit, est. 1963)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Wellington Tradition Day Camp are functional and mostly on time; catering covers the basics — hot lunch, nut-free policy, afternoon snacks.
