The fine arts, pottery & theater programming we observed at Studio 8 of Ridgefield Drama & Clay Camp didn't match what's advertised — activities felt under-planned and loosely supervised. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
What's billed as swim instruction at Studio 8 of Ridgefield Drama & Clay Camp looked, in practice, like unsupervised free swim with a lifeguard chair nearby.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:5 (Early Arts), 1:7 (Master Studios). Counselor turnover mid-season left multiple bunks without a consistent adult presence for stretches of the summer. (per our Ridgefield visit, est. 1999)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
