1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
Water Sports, Kayak Obstacles & Shaded Waterfront Pavilions in Redding. Designed for Ages 4 to 15. The lakeside & waterfront programming has real bright spots, but the daily schedule felt inconsistently paced during our visit. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard staffing at Stillwater Waterfront Adventure Camp looked adequate on the schedule but thin in practice when we counted heads at the pool deck.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Nursery/Pre-K), 1:6 (Grades 1-3), 1:8 (Grades 4+). The advertised 1:4 (Nursery/Pre-K) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit.
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Stillwater Waterfront Adventure Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
