1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
Private Spring-Fed Lake, Stand-Up Paddleboarding & Heated Pools in Monroe. Designed for Ages 4 to 15. The lakeside & waterfront programming covers what you'd expect competently, without much that surprised us either way. (per our Monroe visit, est. 2017) Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Swim instruction happens on a consistent schedule, with lifeguards visibly attentive during our visit. (per our Monroe visit, est. 2017)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Nursery/Pre-K), 1:6 (Grades 1-3), 1:8 (Grades 4+). Most bunk leaders at Stillwater of Monroe Lake & Forest Camp returned from a prior summer, which helps with continuity even if the ratio isn't the tightest we've seen.
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Bus service covers Monroe and nearby towns reliably, and carline moves at a reasonable pace. Lunch is nut-sensitive with a rotating hot option most days.
