1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
Traditional Athletics, Heated Pools & Wooded Summer Spirit in Greenwich. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. The traditional & multi-sport programming has real bright spots, but the daily schedule felt inconsistently paced during our visit. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Unheated pool on cooler days, and lifeguard coverage felt thin during our visit.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Pre-K), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:8 (Tweens). Staff at Pinecrest Adventure Day Camp lean young, and supervision quality depended heavily on which specific counselor was on duty.
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Pinecrest Adventure Day Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.

- Facilities are adequate for Ages 3 to 14, even if not impressive
- A few families we spoke with in Greenwich had entirely positive experiences
- When the 1:4 (Pre-K) ratio held, supervision quality was genuinely good

- traditional & multi-sport instruction quality varied noticeably week to week
- The advertised 1:4 (Pre-K) ratio didn't consistently hold up in practice
- Facilities show uneven upkeep — some areas well-maintained, others neglected
- Billing questions we raised took longer than they should have to get answered
