Working Pottery Wheels, Broadway Masterclasses & Heated Pool Fun in Rowayton. Designed for Ages 4 to 14. Programming quality at Palette & Clay Creative Arts Camp seemed to depend heavily on which counselor was leading a given activity block. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard staffing at Palette & Clay Creative Arts Camp looked adequate on the schedule but thin in practice when we counted heads at the pool deck.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:5 (Early Arts), 1:7 (Master Studios). The advertised 1:5 (Early Arts) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit. (per our Rowayton visit, est. 1985)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Palette & Clay Creative Arts Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
