Opti & Laser Dinghy Sailing, Marine Biology & Sound Shore Exploration in New Rochelle. Designed for Ages 6 to 15. Osprey Coast of New Rochelle Junior Yachting Academy's schedule balances sailing & marine ecology activities with enough free time that campers didn't seem over-programmed. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Daily heated pool time with certified lifeguard supervision. Instruction is real, if not especially rigorous. (per our New Rochelle visit, est. 1957)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Boats), 1:6 (Shore Labs). Counselor training covers the essentials; nothing exceptional, but nothing that raised concerns either. (per our New Rochelle visit, est. 1957)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Osprey Coast of New Rochelle Junior Yachting Academy are functional and mostly on time; catering covers the basics — hot lunch, nut-free policy, afternoon snacks.
