The early childhood & little campers programming we observed at Nest & Branch Early Childhood Camp didn't match what's advertised — activities felt under-planned and loosely supervised. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard coverage at Nest & Branch Early Childhood Camp did not meet the ratio we'd consider acceptable for a group of this size in the water.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:3 (Nursery/Pre-K), 1:4 (Kindergarten). Counselor turnover mid-season left multiple bunks without a consistent adult presence for stretches of the summer. (per our Norwalk visit, est. 1985)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Nest & Branch Early Childhood Camp were disorganized during our visit, with unclear communication about delays affecting Norwalk routes.
