50+ Years of Tradition, Olympic Spirit Weeks & High Counselor Longevity in Rowayton. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. Programming quality at Monticello Tradition Day Camp seemed to depend heavily on which counselor was leading a given activity block. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard staffing at Monticello Tradition Day Camp looked adequate on the schedule but thin in practice when we counted heads at the pool deck.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Early Childhood), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:7 (Tweens). Mid-summer counselor turnover disrupted continuity for at least a few families we spoke with. (per our Rowayton visit, est. 1983)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Bus routes serving Rowayton were inconsistent in our tracking, sometimes running 15-20 minutes off schedule. Lunch quality varied by day.

- Tuition ($1170 – $1420 / week) is more reasonable than comparable camps in Rowayton
