1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
50+ Years of Tradition, Olympic Spirit Weeks & High Counselor Longevity in Redding. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. The educator-led heritage programming covers what you'd expect competently, without much that surprised us either way. (per our Redding visit, est. 2011) Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
The pool program at Monticello of Redding Heritage Day Camp covers the basics competently — heated water, certified staff, a reasonable ratio in the water.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Early Childhood), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:7 (Tweens). Counselors are a mix of mature high schoolers and college-age staff, generally competent and attentive. (per our Redding visit, est. 2011)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Bus service covers Redding and nearby towns reliably, and carline moves at a reasonable pace. Lunch is nut-sensitive with a rotating hot option most days. (per our Redding visit, est. 2011)
