Pedagogical Supervision, Classic Camp Songs & Character Growth in Bedford Hills. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. The educator-led heritage programming has real bright spots, but the daily schedule felt inconsistently paced during our visit. (per our Bedford Hills visit, est. 2008) Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Unheated pool on cooler days, and lifeguard coverage felt thin during our visit. (per our Bedford Hills visit, est. 2008)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Early Childhood), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:7 (Tweens). The advertised 1:4 (Early Childhood) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit. (per our Bedford Hills visit, est. 2008)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Governor’s of Bedford Hills Tradition Day Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
