High-Energy Games, Ropes Course & Classic Camp Camaraderie in Dobbs Ferry. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. The traditional & multi-sport programming has real bright spots, but the daily schedule felt inconsistently paced during our visit. (per our Dobbs Ferry visit, est. 1994) Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Unheated pool on cooler days, and lifeguard coverage felt thin during our visit. (per our Dobbs Ferry visit, est. 1994)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Pre-K), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:8 (Tweens). The advertised 1:4 (Pre-K) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit. (per our Dobbs Ferry visit, est. 1994)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Golden Oak Country Day Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.

- Facilities are adequate for Ages 3 to 14, even if not impressive (per our Dobbs Ferry visit, est. 1994)
- A few families we spoke with in Dobbs Ferry had entirely positive experiences
- Tuition ($1260 – $1510 / week) is more reasonable than comparable camps in Dobbs Ferry
