1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
Equine Horsemanship, Farm-to-Table Cooking & Woodland Stewardship in New Canaan. Designed for Ages 5 to 15. The equestrian & farm ecology programming covers what you'd expect competently, without much that surprised us either way. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Daily heated pool time with certified lifeguard supervision. Instruction is real, if not especially rigorous. (per our New Canaan visit, est. 1977)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Riding Ring), 1:6 (Farm Pods). Counselors are a mix of mature high schoolers and college-age staff, generally competent and attentive. (per our New Canaan visit, est. 1977)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Bus service covers New Canaan and nearby towns reliably, and carline moves at a reasonable pace. Lunch is nut-sensitive with a rotating hot option most days.
Tuition Range: $1630 – $1880 / week

- Campus is clean with reasonable shade coverage for Ages 5 to 15
- Swim program is solid, if unspectacular (per our New Canaan visit, est. 1977)
- Bus service to New Canaan and nearby towns ran close to on schedule
⚠️ What to Consider
- Facilities are a bit dated compared to newer camps in New Canaan
- Some specialty equestrian & farm ecology equipment looked due for an upgrade
- Parent communication is functional but not proactive — you may need to ask (per our New Canaan visit, est. 1977)
