Traditional Athletics, Heated Pools & Wooded Summer Spirit in Weston. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. Programming quality at Chestnut Hill Recreation Day Camp seemed to depend heavily on which counselor was leading a given activity block. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard staffing at Chestnut Hill Recreation Day Camp looked adequate on the schedule but thin in practice when we counted heads at the pool deck.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Pre-K), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:8 (Tweens). The advertised 1:4 (Pre-K) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit. (per our Weston visit, est. 1997)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Chestnut Hill Recreation Day Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
Tuition Range: $1580 – $1830 / week

- Some specialty traditional & multi-sport programming stood out despite the overall inconsistency (per our Weston visit, est. 1997)
- Tuition ($1580 – $1830 / week) is more reasonable than comparable camps in Weston
- Facilities are adequate for Ages 3 to 14, even if not impressive (per our Weston visit, est. 1997)
