18 Shaded Acres of Sports Leagues, Swim Progression & Field Day Traditions in Katonah. Designed for Ages 3 to 14. Some Ages 3 to 14 activities at Chestnut Hill Adventure Day Camp were genuinely engaging; others felt like filler between the highlights. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Unheated pool on cooler days, and lifeguard coverage felt thin during our visit. (per our Katonah visit, est. 1977)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Pre-K), 1:6 (Elementary), 1:8 (Tweens). The advertised 1:4 (Pre-K) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit. (per our Katonah visit, est. 1977)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Chestnut Hill Adventure Day Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
