English & Western Riding, Barn Animal Care & Organic Gardening in White Plains. Designed for Ages 5 to 15. Some Ages 5 to 15 activities at Canterwood Farm & Nature Day Camp were genuinely engaging; others felt like filler between the highlights. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard staffing at Canterwood Farm & Nature Day Camp looked adequate on the schedule but thin in practice when we counted heads at the pool deck.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Riding Ring), 1:6 (Farm Pods). The advertised 1:4 (Riding Ring) ratio held up in some bunks and clearly didn't in others during our visit. (per our White Plains visit, est. 2002)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Canterwood Farm & Nature Day Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
Tuition Range: $1430 – $1680 / week

- Tuition ($1430 – $1680 / week) is more reasonable than comparable camps in White Plains
