Water Sports, Kayak Obstacles & Shaded Waterfront Pavilions in North Stamford. Designed for Ages 4 to 15. Some Ages 4 to 15 activities at Beaver Creek of North Stamford Waterfront Adventure Camp were genuinely engaging; others felt like filler between the highlights. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Lifeguard staffing at Beaver Creek of North Stamford Waterfront Adventure Camp looked adequate on the schedule but thin in practice when we counted heads at the pool deck.
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Nursery/Pre-K), 1:6 (Grades 1-3), 1:8 (Grades 4+). Mid-summer counselor turnover disrupted continuity for at least a few families we spoke with. (per our North Stamford visit, est. 1976)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Carline at Beaver Creek of North Stamford Waterfront Adventure Camp was disorganized during our visit, and we heard mixed reports on how consistently allergy protocols are enforced.
