1. Program Focus & Daily Activities
Daily Ring Lessons, Trail Riding & Poolside Relaxation in Harrison. Designed for Ages 5 to 15. The equestrian & farm ecology programming covers what you'd expect competently, without much that surprised us either way. (per our Harrison visit, est. 1992) Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Swim instruction happens on a consistent schedule, with lifeguards visibly attentive during our visit. (per our Harrison visit, est. 1992)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Riding Ring), 1:6 (Farm Pods). Counselors are a mix of mature high schoolers and college-age staff, generally competent and attentive. (per our Harrison visit, est. 1992)
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Appaloosa Farm & Nature Day Camp are functional and mostly on time; catering covers the basics — hot lunch, nut-free policy, afternoon snacks.
