Harbor Navigation, Knot-Tying & Daily Long Island Sound Regattas in Stamford. Designed for Ages 6 to 15. Anchor Bay of Stamford Coastal Water Camp's schedule balances sailing & marine ecology activities with enough free time that campers didn't seem over-programmed. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Daily heated pool time with certified lifeguard supervision. Instruction is real, if not especially rigorous. (per our Stamford visit, est. 1974)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Boats), 1:6 (Shore Labs). Most bunk leaders at Anchor Bay of Stamford Coastal Water Camp returned from a prior summer, which helps with continuity even if the ratio isn't the tightest we've seen.
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Anchor Bay of Stamford Coastal Water Camp are functional and mostly on time; catering covers the basics — hot lunch, nut-free policy, afternoon snacks.
