Harbor Navigation, Knot-Tying & Daily Long Island Sound Regattas in Cos Cob. Designed for Ages 6 to 15. The sailing & marine ecology programming we observed at Anchor Bay of Cos Cob Junior Yachting Academy didn't match what's advertised — activities felt under-planned and loosely supervised. Sessions run 2 to 8 Weeks, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM daily.
2. Aquatics & Water Safety
Pool was closed for repairs during part of our audit window with no clear parent communication about the closure. (per our Cos Cob visit, est. 1967)
3. Staffing & Supervision Standards
Camper-to-counselor ratios sit at 1:4 (Boats), 1:6 (Shore Labs). Adult supervision felt thin relative to the number of Ages 6 to 15 campers on site during our visit.
4. Logistics, Transportation & Catering
Transportation logistics at Anchor Bay of Cos Cob Junior Yachting Academy were disorganized during our visit, with unclear communication about delays affecting Cos Cob routes.
